Cannabinoids

Cannabinoids are a group of naturally occurring chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa). They interact with specific receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system, which is involved in various physiological processes and helps maintain homeostasis. There are over 100 known cannabinoids, but the most well-known and studied ones are tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

Apart from THC and CBD, cannabinol (CBN), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabichromene (CBC), and many other’s can be found with within these beneficial plants. These cannabinoids have varying effects and potential therapeutic properties, although research is ongoing to fully understand their mechanisms of action and potential benefits.
